Since you are in a rush, it may be difficult to apply all this in one night, but it will surely work for you in the future. It worked for me during the whole period I studied at college and later. Give it a try.

First, read everything you can. If you have the time, read it twice: first, just for your enjoying pleasure (try to really get involved in the story or mechanisms or whatever. Do it as if you were reading a novel). The second time you should write down brief sentences that would help you retain the main concepts being explained by the author. Try to separate the important stuff from the yapping. From that point on, you can read directly from your short notes. The notes should evoke the full concepts and reading them repeatedly will help you fix the stuff in your mind.
Soon enough you will feel that you got it.

Good luck. And let us know (by adding a comment) how your exam went. ;o)

STUDY STUDY STUDY! If that doesn't help-STUDY! Lol. I feel your pain! But I finished mine already! Muahahaha! Lol. Back to the point-make flashcards with ALL AND I MEAN ALL YOUR VOCAB AND IMPOTENT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AND INFO YOU THINK IS GONNA BE ON THE TEST! Read all the info ova and ova and ova again and be serious about your work and studying! Don't be on the computer! Yeah, I know, like I'm the one to talk! LOL. But seriously, go into a very quiet room and FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS! Don't let anything distract you from reading! Good Luck! 8-D
