iIt's for an ex, that i do want back, but I mostly want to do it cuz he sent them to me in the past to show he cared, and i just want to show him that someone is thinking of him (namely me, unless i send them as a secret admirer) and that someone cares about him for who he is and not what he can do for them. maybe he will stop and realize that he is too good a person to be associating with the so-called 'friends' that are no good and came between us in the first place. They only want him to hang out with them because their always broke, and he is an extremely nice and generous guy who would give u the shirt off his back if u truely needed it. I think it would be nice if someone did something for him for a change!

Right now he isn't speaking to me. should i try the flowers first, and hope it gets him to talk? or should i try calling or texting him first to see if he'll speak with me privately, without all the drama and yelling from friends in background and at me? and if call/text first-- which is better?

i don't want to embarrass him. just want him to realiize how special a guy he is and that someone does know that!, and so maybe he'll see that he deserves to be with someone who is worthy of him!, even if that's not me.

Flowers not only display love but sentiment. If I was the ex it would be a great gesture.

Lisa, do you live in an area where a guy receiving flowers would be upset or humiliated? If not, then there is nothing wrong with the idea. It is the act of sending them that you pointed out that makes us know that some one cares. The only thing that I wonder about, is the "ex, that I do want back " issue. The friction between you and his friends will not necessarily be helped with this kind gesture. Only you can decide if your kind act would be considered inflammatory. If you do decide to send the flowers, make sure he knows they're from you- with no strings.

It's not weird to send a guy flowers. I sent them to my ex once (we were together at the time) and he loved it. I'm not sure that sending them to an ex is a valuable use of resources, though. If he wanted you back, you'd have him back.

sometimes a break-up isn't for the apparent reasons. if you are still friends, just call him up and let him know how much you care about him, but don;t make it about the romance. he might think you are only telling him or giving him stuff to get him.

I say send him the flowers. Write him a poem or a story.
I am sure that if you are meant to be together it will work out.
Good luck.

to send an EX flowers? yes. that would be oddly inappropriate. and remember that he's your ex for a reason. whatever that reason is, it'll probably come up again.

It would be generouse yeah. My opinion i think you should do what you think is right. If you do send them to him sign your name not anonymous so he'll know its you and not someone else.
