your gut has bacteria, and they love the veggie matter that we don't absorb well. So the bacteria really go to town.

If the gas is quite bad, then the bowl dilates and takes 24-48 hrs to recover, and then another day to coordinate forward propulsion... this is called an ileus... and accounts for your delay.

beanno, bean-x.... other commercial preps can be flat out brilliant fixes, try and see which you like.

otherwise, good hydration, moderation of those veggies will help.

can consider enteral replacement, using healthy "yeasts/bacteria", like the dannon product with lacto-baccilus, I think. I know of anecdotal success stories.

There are two different kinds of gas....stinky and non-perfumed! Vegetables cause the non-perfumed farts....garlic causes stinky farts!

Vegetables just do that, try Gas-X. Drink a lot of water! Make sure you eat vegetables everyday and your body will get used to them!

it might be the water the vegetables are washed in, or something in the soil, or some problem you have digesting those foods. I would talk to your doctor. Where do you live?
