well in about 12 more weeks...only 8 if your skinny and lucky...an ultrasound will tell you the sex of your baby.

All babies start as "girls", and when they develop their genitals, at about 16 weeks from memory, if it's a boy, they will drop from girls bits to boy bits. You can find out by ultrasound after about 20 weeks. The episode of HOUSE that aired in Oz last night (teen supermodel on heroin) explained it really well.

You don't know if it's a girl or a boy, when you are about 5 or 6 you will know. The baby is to small , for the doctors to know.

First of all CONGRATS!!!
Im almost 10weeks pregnant, my doc. said we wont be able to tell what sex the baby is until the 16th or 20th week. I also cant wait to find out what the little bundle of joy is! I dont care either way buy I want to start buying stuff.

how are we suppose to know? you can't tell what the sex is til you have a sonigram or ultra sound done and usually around 18-21 weeks the dr can tell what the sex of the baby is by looking at the ultra sound/sonigram! but sometime baby likes to hide it's sex til it's born! i had a sonigram done at 18 weeks when i was pregnant with my daughter....I didn't know her sex til she was born because she had her legs crossed!

It is two hard to find out at this time in your pregnancy. Usually around 21weeks they can identify the gender of the baby with an ultrasound.

Usually at 20 weeks you doctor can tell with a ultrasound.

If I remember correctly(my last baby was 8yrs. ago) you won't be able to find out until at least 20 weeks maybe later. Ask your OB-GYN or nurse and they will let you know! Congrats and good luck!
