honestly, no! just make sure you take two pain relievers before you pierce it just in case.

yes, but like everything else, it eventually passes. Cartalage piercing is also more dangerous. Youre more prone to infection and can cause liver disease. So think hard before you decide to do it. and get it done by a professional!!! Don't take chances.

it doesnt hurt that much. when i got my ears pierced, i used this cream called emla cream and it is supposed to make the area feel numb and when its time for a shot or a pierce, it doesnt hurt a bit. if u dont want to use the emla cream, u can used the ice if u want to, but u dont have to

not as bad as everyone is saying it does. If you anticipate it then you might psych yourself out. I do recommend taking two aleve after you get it, and u wont be able to sleep on that side for about 4 days. just keep it clean and spinning it often and you should be fine. Good Luck.

yeah, it hurts sooo bad! i couldnt go to sleep!!!!

i took it out and never wore earrings there again, thatz how bad i didnt like!

i wouldnt get it pierced, it looks better w/o on most people

It sounds like it hurts more than a lobe piercing. I had one of those once, and it didn't hurt at all.

If you already have a pierced ear, it will be the same pain, or maybe no pain.

yes and it's going to take a little while to heal, but only if you don't get hit in it because my just healed up a few days a go i got it piecred in oct of 04

WOW YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went in to get my ears pierced a 3rd time in each ear... had one side done and chickened out on doing the other side.
