Well I went out into the field and interviewed a horse AND a pony, here's what they had to say:
Horse: Well Dave,
Me: No, not Dave, Dory.
Horse: Sorry Dory, I'm no good with names, my throats feeling odd, I'm going a little hoarse, hey like a pony!
Me: Isn't that ponyist?
Horse: Well, no not really, they don't mind. I like being bigger than a pony, because I can see a lot further than they can, it's cool, sorry I've got to go for a lie down.
Me: OK, Thanks for the interview.
Pony: What did the horse say? Was he talking about me?
Me: (told him what Horse said).
Pony: Well, I like being this small, because whereas Horse is looking into the other fields at stuff, he treads in cow muck!
Me: How is that better for you then?
Pony: Well, I'm lower to the ground, I can see the muck easier, so I avoid it, that's why horses smell of poo!
Me: Isn't that horsest?
Pony: Hey, no, they don't mind!
(A passing cow says: blimey a talking horse/fish/ pony, then she passes out).
Daisy the cow is currently recovering in a field near Essex.

No. We are secure with ourselves and our size. Sure there is the fact that we can't race, but we believe races are over rated and know how the big horses get trained to death and given drugs to make them run faster. No ma'am, we love the easy life! Besides there are many little ponies just like us. We have our own groups so we don't feel excluded or left out. Also we are big enough to be horses on the inside. As a pony myself I have come to accept my identity and love who I am. I have many friends who are horses and we love to chat on IM. I must admit when I was a filly I was intimidated by other big horses on the farm. It was hard to go to school with them feeling so small but I am happy with my stature now and run in the grassy fields with my big and little quadra-ped friends.

When I was a boy, I played with My Little Ponies. Look how I turned out.
"Sometimes I feel like a unicorn among horses..." My philosophy on life after reading "The Glass Menagerie" in 10th grade.
I think ponies and horses usually look happy, unless they are mistreated.

Both. And stallions or whatever is in-between feel sad because they're too small to be horses AND to big to be ponies. It's a lose-lose for them.

Only people bother to worry about things and feel sad about what they aren't. Ponies are happy to be ponies, just like dogs are happy to be dogs.

no ponies do not feal sadness as they are pure, sadistic, manevloent, evil. Sure they act all pretty and cute....but as soon as you turn youre back WHAM!!! in with the sledge hammer, then they steal your wallet and but more hammers...so they can get more wallets until the get enough hammers to make a big giant hammer statue, made out of hammers!!!
