18. You need a bank account to have a debit card and you have to be 18 to enter into a contract.

Old enough to have a checking account, some banks are okay with 16 but most are 18

Well, since debit cards are connected to your bank that would depend on what age your bank allows you to have your own checking account. I would call your bank and ask customer service.

I think I was sixteen when I got mine. Theoretically you should be able to get a debit card as long as you have a checking account. It might be eighteen, though. I'm not sure.

I don't think there is really an age. As long as you have money in the account! LOL JK, but ummm.... I really don't think you have to be a specific age or older.

i had one and im 15 so i dont think so. like someone said as long as u have money in ur account u should be fine.
