when did people start refering to "oldies" as oldies?

i mean 50's and 60's rock and pop music. all the stations that play that music are called "oldies" stations. when did that start? when will todays music be called oldies? what will they call 50's music then, older oldies? great grandoldies?

I think they started id'ing them as oldies around 1987 or so. Love some oldies, like all different kinds of music.
