Supposedly the classes were elimated with the revolution and unification of the country in 1975. However, if you're their, you'll notice that there are folks with lots of money and lots of folks with none. Officialy there is no class system, but infomrally, there is a pecking order according to pure money. There is also a general consideration of rural people as being "countryside", meaning that they are somewhat less cultured than the urban people. The rural folks also tend to be painfully poor, so this fits again with the notion of money and class.
Bottom line for yoour question, lower class would be rural workers, street workers/cleaners and such. Middle class??? Upper class are the people who can look as conspicuously unbusy as possible.
