I have been having mild to severe headaches daily for the past 2 weeks. Does anyone know what may be the cause?

It can be tension, or it might be something as simple as not getting enough water. Naturally, the best thing to do is check with your doctor. Another thing that causes me to have headaches is a change in the barometric pressure. My sinuses go crazy. There are a million things it could be. Eye strain, something missing in your diet, allergies. Maybe your neck or spinal cord is out of alignment.

Definitely check with your doctor.

By the way, I had a severe headache one time for six weeks. It was stress. My ex and I were having lots of problems then.

a million. When is the final time you had a headache? Couple of years (steady one) two. What did you are taking on your headache? Advil three. When is the final time you had a hangover headache? About every week in the past four. What labored for this headache? Time five. What does not paintings in any respect on your complications? Banging my head towards a wall 6. Do you get stupid complications or throbbing complications? I frequently do in no way get complications. When I do (steady ones) they're frequently stupid. A sizzling tub or truly well therapeutic massage works wonders. A chiropractor would possibly aid too to get you again in operating order!

It could be allergies, sinuse infection, fluid in your ears, a chemical imbalance. Any number of things. You might have a tumor growing who knows but after two weeks I would think it would definately warrent an appointment with a doctor and have it checked out. Nothing worse, then wondering why your head hurts.

Could be muscle tension. I had the same thing a few years back. Tell your doctor about it. He/she should give you a prescription for a muscle relaxant and refer you to a physical therapist. The physical therapist should give you some exercises to help relieve the tension and give you shock treatments (I don't remember their actual name, but the Dr. will run electrical pulses through your muscles. It feels really bizarre, but you'll be completely relaxed when it's done.)

It could be a tension headache or....have you quit smoking or decreased your smoking recently? Cut down or increased your caffeine intake? Stress levels up or down? Have you been getting enough sleep? Hormone levels could be out of wack. Do you wear glasses or contacts and you aren't wearing them like normal? I would definitely go see your Dr. if you don't fall into any of these categories. It could be something more so check it out. Good luck.

You should see a doctor. I have migraines too that seem to come in droves, but I had a CT scan and they didn't find anything wrong. Sometimes it can be hormonal. Allergies bring em on for me too when the pollen count gets high.

Stress or visual problems, have you been doing anything different to usual? For relief try an ice pack at the base of your neck, and panadol. As they say if pain persists see a doctor.

Go to your doctor as soon as possible and ask for a referral to a neurologist if you are in an HMO. If you have open access and don't need a referral, make an appointment with a neurologist as soon as you can. Just do it!
