A gentleman thinks of others (especially ladies and elders) more than himself...if you think about this, it sums up any "gentlemanly" behavior - respect, kindness, sensitivity, thoughtfulness, as well as having patience and self-control. Once a gentleman has this mindset, he will also notice a confidence in himself also as others reflect his behavior back to him!
