People in nursing homes today listen to the music popular in their youth, like sinatra, and crosby. When i'm 92 sitting in a wheelchair with somebody feeding me, i'm going to be listening to "calling all the *bitches and the *hoes". When a grandson asks "what are you listening to?" He'll get a "boy you be quiet, it's Dr. Dre and if you don't shut yo fool mouth or i'll bust a cap in yo a*ss". My generation will be the worst old people ever.

I kind of wonder what music will be like in the future. I mean, it's already pretty dirty now, how much dirtier could it get?

It is a bit sad that some people grew up with that crap. You will mature past this crap music into something that others can tolerate.

I'm afraid that the rap of today will be the clean music 50 years from now.

What an interesting question! There is other music. Not just rap. Obviously rap is all you listen to. You seem to know the "lyrics" so well. Classical music has always been around. So has opera; what we now call "easy listening"; country and western. There are
all kinds of music; not just hip hop. But your question made me chuckle. Thanks for the smile.

Don't worry, there is a good chance your taste in music will develop past Dr. Dre. I used to be in to rap and now as I grow and mature so does my music. I have gotten in to jazz and blues. I think I will be a cool old lady. I will keep my hair long and wear it in braided pigtails. I will wear long gypsy style skirts and go barefoot as much as possible. I hope my hair goes grey, I think that is so cool. ....I know, I am weird.

I will be listening to Hungry like the Wolf. You have other options besides pop culture and rap. You could be listening to your great grand kids playing the violin. It seems like all of popular culture is just low culture. It really doesn't seem to be much more than fast food for the mind. Luckily for you, you are young and have numerous other types of music available to you and endless options of things to entertain yourself with other than most of the crap we expose ourselves to on a daily basis

I suppose the solution would be: Find the secret of eternal youth. Then nobody would have to get old ever again.

Not everyone is like you, and I don't know how old you are, but I'm sure that not everyone will be like that. For example, I have no clue who Dr. Dre is, and I don't plan on knowing.

It will be worse for my friend who has a tattoo of flames coming out of her vagina. Can you imagine when the orderlies pull back the covers when she's 92?

hahahahahahahaha, that was a hilarious image.

But to answer your question....

My mom used to like Nine Inch Nails, and now can hardly listen to any of that style of music because she just feels like she's too old and now it "offends" her. She's moved on to country music and public radio.

and you're question? But hey! I've got Jimi Hendrex and Led Zeppelin. "Squeeze my lemon til the juice runs down my leg"! that should be appropriate in a couple of years.
