We all have our likes and dislikes. Maybe math is not your strongest subject. I am positive you are good at something else.

Howard Gardner,a psychologist, introduced the theory of Multiple Intelligences in 1983. He says that there are many kinds of intelligences. These intelligences are: verbal/linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence,visual/spatial intelligence, bodily/kinesthetic intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence. Probably, you don't like math because your aptitude and interest may not be in numbers. Perhaps, you are linguistically intelligent which means you may be good in spelling or grammar or learn foreign languages fast; or you may be visually/spatially intelligent which means you may be good in sculpture or painting or driving various types of transportation;or you may possess the bodily kinesthetic intelligence that means you may be a good dancer or an athlete; or you may be musically intelligent which means you sing well or play a musical instrument well; or you may be interpersonally intelligent which means you are good in communicating with people; or you may be intrapersonally intelligent which means you have a good view of yourself.

Don't worry if you don't like math. A lot of people don't like math. To cope with math in school, the key is paying attention when the teacher explains how solutions are arrived at and participating in oral exercises. Answering all assigned written exercises will help, too.

Once you get the concept, math will be more appealing. You'll see. :-)

Many students are put off math in elementary school by teachers and/or parents who make mean comments. Math, like all subjects we want to learn, take time and patience.

Well if you're a girl, it's common for girls to not like math.

Generally if you don't like math you think it's stupid because you don't understand it, that's why I hate math. :D

It's the same with Science.

It is boring. Probably the main problem is that people don't see how math, especially advanced maths like algebra and geometry, apply to their daily lives.

Because it's just plain hard and i hate it too. I'm having a final today and tomorrow and its pretty easy so far....SO FAR that's what they do, drop the easy questions first and then kill you with hard ones. I don't think anyone in their right mind likes math...but that's just me...
