Clean them first with viniger, but otherwise they should be fine.

Yes, I add rocks to my tanks all the time, Just make sure they are scrubbed clean. I actually boil them first, or add a few drops of bleach to the water I am cleaning them with them rinse then very well

Ok, what you want to do is soak them in hot bleach water for about an hour... rinse them THOROUGHLY and put them in a clean bucket of water with the dechlorinator to get rid of any other traces of the bleach. Then they will be just fine to add to your tank.

Yes I use small river rock in my beta tank and I've not encountered any probs. As long as you wash them well with a mild detergent and rinse them thouroghly it should be fine.

Scrub them very, very well, and make sure you get any algae, etc off them. If you're going to put them in a fish tank, they might have something on them that'll kill the fish, and if you wash them with soap, that might poison your fish too.

yes just clean them reall good let them sit in bleach for like 1 hour then clean them good with water befor u put them in
