I am sorry for your loss I know it hurts My best friend of 35 years and I claim to be sisters. I don't think you have any legal standing even though you lost a big part of your life.

I highly doubt it. Although, you never know these days with society being all sue happy and everything. I think only the family can sue for wrongful death or something like that.
