One of three things (or a combo):
1) nothing
2) less gas mileage
3) knocking of the engine

Knocking or pinging of the engine. Try to drain it out, and be careful next time. But if it was just this once, it should do any permanent damage to your engine.
You could buy some gas booster, at an auto store to add, it will boost the octane rating and should help some.

It will cause knocking, There are liquid octane boosters available at most auto parts stores that you might try until you run out the tank and get the right gas in there

It can cause detonation better known as spark knock . What happens with lower octane fuels is that they burn hotter and ignite easier ! This can cause excessive heat in the cylinders under hard acceleration , so don't beat on it and you shouldn't have any trouble !

One time should be no big deal...you may notice a slight degrease in performance as your on-board computer adjust the engine timing to compensate for the lower octane rating....

Poor performance, hesistation, pinging , harder starting, stalling, less economy, want me to keep going or do you get the idea yet??
Anyway, run your tank down to 1/2 then fill it with the premium, repeat this about 3 times and you should be OK.

If you drive it gently and keep your foot light on the go pedal, no problem. You might find that you're spending less on gas as you drive that way too. THEN, refill with the proper grade.

One tank of it isn't gonna kill you, but it will cause knocking. Knocking can cause serious damage to the engine in the long run, so be more conscious of it next time.

Mr. Q is right. You may loose a little in the performance, but it shouldn't hurt. Ask your dealer or mechanic.
