I need help!!! I was born on an U.S. military base in Japan- My birth certificate has been lost-what can I do?

I've tried the internet, but keep coming up to dead ends.

A copy of your birth certificate is available through the Department of State if you were born of a military service personnel.

Try the U.S. consulate in Japan.
