Unfortunately Ecuador is right now but Peru will be back on the 2010 World Cup for sure

for now on ecuador is a better team,,the old glory of the peruvian national team was en the 70's when a big bunch of fine players were produced,,some of them teofilo cubillas,muñuante ,juan carlos oblitas,cholo sotil,and many many more,,hopefully this give the idea that the ecuadorian national team is go in through a the biggest moment in their life on football.

Ecuador has qualified easily for 2 consecutive world cups.
Peru hasn't even made it to fifth for a chance at a playoff...
