Is it a Dell? If so that could be the problem.

Did you turn any media player down?? If so turn them back up.. check to make sure something hasn't changed in your sounds like mute or unchecked ..

Check the volume first. Then if it doesn't work you are going to have to buy some new speakers.

try to check you sound driver. and try to connect your laptop with an headset or any external sound dives
