started my bike this morning and took off right away without warming it up. i left the choke on half way to keep it at a good idle.
two or three blocks from house bike started to sputter. i turn up choke it gets worse so i turned it of and the bike dies.
so i stop and try to start it but it wont start. with the choke on or off it wouldnt start. so i figure maybe its flooded. so i smoke a cig, then try again still wont start.
i know im not outa gas but i try and check anyway just in case. so i put my key in the slot to open the tank , i turn and pull but it wont open. i try three times to open it but cant. finally getting annoyed i try a third time pulling as hard as i can finaly it pops open and theres a big swoosh of air that sucks into the tank so fast that it shot gas out the top.then i close the tank try and start the bike and it starts rite up. whats caused this to happen and was it just a fluke.

It sounds like your fuel tank vent hose is pinched.

no, no ,no. what you got is vacuum block. is there a fuel line coming out the back of the petcock, trace it for the prob. no line from the back, look for the carb hose coming from the end of the far right(or left). to check first, this prob will repeat under any normal, long range driving, take off and wait, if it doesn't pop up agian, blow it off, bikes can be fikle, lol.

nicely, in my view, i think of a bike is a huge investment as long as you're prepared to place the attempt and time into the interest. i'm purely sixteen, yet i've got been using them seeing that i become 4. and that i nevertheless have plenty to earnings. i'd advise, in case you're nevertheless worried, commencing off with an Enduro. basically its a highway-criminal airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust-bike. according to threat a TS125? Then circulate your way as much as a minimum of a few thing like a Ducati or Kawasaki. Then in case you're into extra long-term journeys, a Harley Fatboy or highway flow. yet keep in mind, if some thing have been to ensue mutually as you're on the bike, the worst achievable element you will desire to do is be afraid to holiday back. wish I helped! (:

Sounds like fuel starvation due to a vacuum forming in the tank - vent is probably blocked.

Sounds like a Harley to me. I think the solution to avoid that from happening in the future is... Don't start her up cold, but also... don't choke too much or too long. Also, check your oil if you aren't always starting up.
