You should really have some runoff pipes installed on your lawn...for a short fix install a sumppump below your basement floor level to pump out the backwash....Put a hole in the basement floor at its lowest point and install the pump.

Good Luck

The soil around your house needs to slope away from the house so the water doesn't run toward your house and seep in. You probably also need to dig a trench several feet away from your home and fill it with a drain that leads rainwater away. This is a labor intensive job, maybe you should hire a home inspector to look at it then they can advise you on the correct solution.

Several possible remedies, but none are easy.

1- Have a French drain installed.
2- dig a trench around the house 18inches deep, pad with rubber, fill with rocks, down slope toward and open drain.
3- jackhammer a hold in your basement and install a sump pump. You can rent the jackhammer.

sounds like ur dirt is close to not perkable. ur leach lines might be shot. sounds like its time for a new system. if i was going to do this tho i would haul in truck loads of dirt and slope it away from house and remember if ur house is on a crawl space to raise the level of the grade ( dirt ) under there 6" higher than the outside grade.
