In HS I got mostly D's and passed by the skin of my teeth. In college I decided to turn myself around and now my accumulative GPA is 2.8. This semester I got a 3.0. Would you say that big of a turn around would be quite an accomplishment?

Thx for the kind comments. My schools have always used the 4.0 grading scale btw (A=4, D=1, F=0) .

Feel proud of yourself, you are on the right track. Education is very important. I graduated from H.S. with a 1.7 and for my Associates degree 3.52, and in college a 3.20.

Whoever wrote that you did better than you actually are doing is correct because college is way harder than H.S.

Keep it up! I have actually read some good books on "How to Study" that helped. They give advice on how to memorize materials, how to take tests, ect.

Congrats!

Dave

Any kind of improvement is of course wonderful! Plus college is a lot harder, so you actually improved more than you think :)

Any improvement is good, and as long as you know you are trying your best, you should be proud of your success so far! :o)
