It's happened before, but if you just got done with your period, it's unlikely. It's probably wishful thinking on her part, let us know in a month! :)

Hate to say it, but I've had a little girl about that age (who barely knows me at all) say the same thing a few months ago and I am definitely not pregnant. I think that some girls think that if you are female and within a certain age range that you should be having babies. I'm thinking that they can see the difference between your adult body and their body. And they don't understand any reason why a woman isn't pregnant unless someone explains it to them. Maybe this is your daughter's way of trying to understand the amount of siblings that she does or doesn't have. Maybe she wants siblings bad enough to envision that you are pregnant.

Hmm...probably not. Maybe she wants a sibling, or maybe she saw a pregnant mom on tv, or maybe she heard you and your hubby talking about trying for another baby. My 2-year old girl, she said the same thing to me, and my hubby and I were trying and we really thought that we were pregnant (because I had missed my period - but we weren't pregnant). She kept telling me that she wanted a boy brother, and no girls. It was hilarious! I guess she had heard her dad and I talk about babies. We're not pregnant yet but trying - my daughter really wants a brother!

You have to remember that the greatest memory any child is the scent of his/her parents not sight but your scent. so no they can't tell you you are having a baby but your scent can tell them that there is something different about you ok. also we have not yet know all there is about the human brain or what your scent can trigger in their mind.

She's probably just pretending or wishing, does she know you are trying (i assume you are because you put this question in trying to concive) if she knows you are trying shes probably just trying to make you happy!
