I want to start an r&b singing group..?

Question

This group would be me and three other friends (all girls)
But,I have no clue how to get started. And how to get demos and whatever. This is just a thought that we have.
But how can we get started? What should we do?

hard work think of all teh competition there is well try it and go for it make a demo and send it in or have a lot of copies made and pass em out try giving a few to teh radio station maybe u will get lucky

R & B? Is that like Rhythm and Blues? I would suggest that you all learn how to sing first. Then hire some musicians. Then write some songs. Then record the songs (demo) and get them listened to on your local radio stations. Probably help if you all were totally hot looking too.

Start meeting and practicing in someone's room or garage.
Then start singing at parties you go to and for like your mom's birthday party or school talent shows or state fairs. When you have 15 songs together really well that you like, then think about making a recording.

Practice, then book some gigs at local bars.
Then get some money for demo's
and try and get an audience to recognize you. Then work on image, and making a name for yourself.

well......it really depends if you think your ready, if you think your good enough, and if your ready to face the consoquences if it dosen't work out the way you hoped.......but if deside your ready to make that decition, than i wish you the best of luck!
