i just wasn't interested in going because i probably wouldn't look thin in my dress and im still not but in a way i feel kind of you no i don't know the word to express my feelings

I think so, I really had now interest in going to mine but I went anyway cuz I knew I would regret it. Although I didn't have that much fun I still went. It's the last real big bash before school is over. most likely you won't see all your friends from school much after you graduate. So it's more of a early "goodbye B*tch's" Party!

It doesn't matter what you look like, or if you have to go by yourself. I am 25 and didn't go to any of my proms, and regret it. If nothing else, just go to one, and see if you like it. If not, then there's the answer to your question. Like you, I wasn't intersted in my proms, but now really regret it.

Probably. But you should do what you want to do. If you don't want to go then don't. It's just a dance, and if you don't like scholl then woopy s**t! I went to two and I don't think about it ever. Who cares. The real world and grown up life is what really matters.

maybe not. My friends who didn't go also and I had an "anti-prom" night out. We had a lot of fun. We drove around with six guys and girls and just hung out and did funny, stupid things. When I think of that night, I still smile!

I was forced to go to my high school prom and I did not enjoy it. I chose not to go to either of my college graduations and I don't regret either decision. Make choices that work in your life, not to appease other people. If you don't want to go, don't go.

my prom was 34 years ago. i did not go because i had no one to ask. till this day, every time i hear our prom theme on the radio, which was "COLOR MY WORLD" by the group Chicago, i get kind of sad. not really sad, just sort of bummed!!!!!

I don't think you'll regret it. But its up to you. Go with a group of friends if you want that's what I did.
