George W. Bush doesn't deserve sh!t. First of all, he's the president. His job is to say either "yes" or "no" to any action that the FBI, CIA, or the US military comes up with. He doesn't really DO anything in that respect. Second, by committing the United States in an illegal, unjust, and unnessecary war in Iraq, he has done more harm than good in the so-called "War on Terror". Third, you need to consult more than one source for the news. Al Qaida is still around somewhere and there's no evidence to support the fact that Al Qaida is no longer a threat to anyone.

If you suggested that... I would ask you... what evidence you have to support that...

there have been attacks to destroy his camps in Afghanistan, but he's not there anymore and those are not the only camps he has... beyond that, no one really knows how much his abilities have been affected....

opinions should be based on fact, not on "what you feel or have heard"...

The only reason some give to support that assumption, is that there have not been any other attacks... to those people I would say, it usually takes several years to plan an attack, 6 for the WTC attack.... in other words... .that my be a valid reason to support your argument 4 or 5 years from now, but I see no validity in it now...

Many of these "he's not a threat" attitudes are the same attitudes that allowed the previous attacks in the first place... no one thought he could actually pull off 9-11... but he did... are we going to make the same mistake twice by underestimating him?

We've done a good job, but OBL is a threat if he stays out there forever, but we'll never capture him alive - I'd shoot him in the balls personally. However, he isn't all of Islamic extremism. If we kill the guy, terrorists keep coming. You have to defeat the cause & not the leaders. We're doing that now despite the cowards that want us to run away even though they haven't sacrificed anything yet. Punks one & all!

Americans are a threat to themselves and we will remain so until we wise up about the ways of the rest of the world and realize that we don't make the rules and we should stop trying to push our beliefs on others.

They would be a huge threat to us (on our soil) if they didn't have so much to occupy them over in that part of the world.

Four more years for Bush!

They are a threat. It's just that it's not on the new. The fad is Immigration and same sex marriage at the moment in the news.

Are you that dumb? Osama is still out there, he may not be as strong now, but strong enough to make an impact.
