Start dating whenever you feel ready, but avoid a serious relationship for at least a couple of years. My sister remarried within a year of her divorce ~ way too soon in my opinion ~ and ended up with a guy who is just like her first husband. Well, except for the cheating.
I had a friend who went to a divorce support group and they told her the "rule" is to wait one year for every four years you were married before getting into another committed relationship. Date all you want until then! :-) Good luck!

It's perfectly fine to start back dating whenever you feel "ready" to. If you're not ready yet, then wait. Otherwise, this weekend would be the perfect time to go to a movie, or dinner with a nice guy. You will know when you're ready. Nobody can tell you when that is! Be honest with yourself, but I have a feeling you are now, or you never would have asked this question. Have fun!

It all depends on how you feel. My brother got all the paperwork filled out and set up with his lawyer not even 8 months ago, he is already living with another woman(no she weren't the reason for the divorce. He didn't start dating until after the papers were signed) and they have 5 kids between them. He's very happy and plans on marrying her this summer. So, it's all up to you. Don't let anyone tell you any differently.

Well I can't say I waited, it was more like the opportunity came to me. And now I'm happily married again. And last time too!!!

i'd wait a month at least...take care of yourself...get that ex totally out of your system...no sense bringing that baggage into something new...and when you do start dating keep it simple...don't already be looking for hubby number 2!! just have some fun for awhile.

get out there and start having sex with other men now, dont wait, life is too short. when you get too old, no one will want to touch you anymore, so get out now. live it up, even try another woman, you wont regert
