Yeah of course every single BMW is reliable but like I always say is if you take the cars to it's limits it won't last long like street racing is popular with the BMW M3 CSL so maybe that's why those cars don't last long because they drive to hard it's like running miles and miles every day after you get finished your exhausted that's why if you race your car no matter what it is even if it's a Mercedes which lasts longer than any car ever made it will break down if you race it or take it to it's limits every day. If you race your 740i it won't be reliable.

BMW's are usually pretty durable cars (I have a 2000 328i). The only downfall is that if something like a transmission or something happens to fail, it cost more to get it fixed because it's a foreign car, and few people fix foreign cars because of parts. That's why you can usually see, for example, Toyota parts in a Lexus; the parts are accessible and less expensive.

It may be reliable but I wouldn't want to buy factory parts from the dealer. German cars are known for expensive replacement parts.

All BMWs are reliable - that's why they're more expensive than other cars, and their resale is so good.
