No. Since a person simply in the same room as another person smoking a joint will receive significantly less smoke (and therefore THC) than the person smoking the joint, there will not be enough to be detected. This is unless the person in the room intentionally tries to inhale as much smoke as possible.

By the way, being in the presence of a crime can make you an accessory to the crime. Might just motivate you to throw out the dope smoker in your house.

It would be unlikely. Most tests are not that sophisticated due
to cost restraints. If cost of tests were not an issue, then yes,
it can be detected, but not easily. With really expensive tests,
nearly everyone will test positive for something. The entire
nations currency supply will test positive for various things.

You shouldn't,but I remember back when I was younger a friend of mine would leave the room in college because she was scared of getting it into her system before she took a drug test. She's a docotr now... So???
I would just leave the room just in case. Maybe being in a closed up room and in hailing it could cause something??
I'm talking about pot not cigarettes

No...clinically proven one cannot get a buzz from second hand pot smoke....if you feel it, it's all in your head...do you realize that in order for someone who does not smoke that is around someone who does, they would literally have to chain smoke for 30-45 days before it would show up in the others system. and then they would have to be blowing it directly at them in their face. Unless the person directly inhales, there is no danger.

If the other person is smoking a controlled substance, then yes. When you inhale second hand smoke you get as much or more of the active ingredients in your lungs and then bloodstream.

I don't know if you mean for smoking tobacco products or illegal drugs here, it's a little confusing. But you shouldn't fail it, at least not to my knowledge because second-hand smoke is really absorbed in large quantities with young children but with older adults I don't think so but I'm honestly not sure.

Given that passive smoking has been claimed as a source of death, it is credible. However, you would have to spend a lot of time in the company of potsmokers to fail a drug test.

Nope. I asked my doctor this before. He said you would have to sit in a COMPLETELY smogged room (like you can't see your hand in front of your face) for AT LEAST 24 hours STRAIGHT for it to be enough to show up on a drug test. So don't listen to the other stupidasses, they don't know what they are talking about.

Maybe, I lot of the toxins get absorbed into the body when inhailing, maybe they would have better chance of failing if they hang out with Bill Clinton because he claimed he didn't inhale.
