How much do we consume of various everyday items?

Does anyone know a free resource where I can find out facts and figures related to global consumption?

For exmple, Globally we consume $42bn worth of chocolate. Which is actually true. Or globally we spend $18bn on makeup.

I'm trying to resarch how much we spend globally on a range of things. Anyone know anywhere I could find some of this kind of information?

I'd guess your estimates would vary widely depending on who is doing the counting.

Try industry groups for the particular products, these would be the ones actually counting.
