4 components water and a million section sugar. I positioned a million cup of water interior the microwave and dissolve the sugar in it. Then blend something of the water in a water container. make particular the feeders are sparkling. they are asserting that the feeders could desire to get replaced each and every 3 or 4 days, yet i've got been feeding them for years and purely replace them, in the event that they get to low or get grimy looking. I unquestionably have a minimum of two humming birds, each and every 12 months. I stay in NJ. good success!

Basically yes, but you can add some red food coloring in that to color the water. Some people have used Kool-Aid too, but as long as it is a sugary water mixture and it's in a container that is appealing to the little creatures, they will be very happy. Good luck! Outdoor birds are wonderful creations for us humans to learn from and watch.

Basically...the mixture should be 1 to 4 (one cup sugar for every four cups of water)...heat the mixture to dissolve the sugar, let cool. Replace once/week.
PS: NO FOOD COLORING!
