My question is I want to buy one of the sims games for my computer. I have Sims, Sims bustin out, Sims 2 for Playstation 2 but I was wondering what game everyone recommends for the computer version.

Okay, does any have the pack that they sell that has all the expansion packs as well as the games themselves, they sell it at best buy. Also, do you really need the expansion packs?

The Sims 2 is definitely the best game for the PC, there are 3 expansion packs so far, and they are due to bring out another one soon.
I had the original Sims game and all of it's expansion pack when they first came out and they were fab, but now that Sims 2 is out I would never go back.
You don't really NEED the expansion packs, but they always come with extra objects, and occasionally change the way the game is played, you could just buy the ones that you find interesting.
If you have a decent PC you can expand the game so much further, there are thousands of downloads available within the online community so that you can create the life of your dreams.

Sims 2 plus all the expansion packs...and yes the expansion packs are necessary if you want to experience the full sims 2 experience

I love playing the Sims 2 on the computer. It has add-ons. Sims nightlife, Sims Open For business and the Sims University and the Sims family fun stuff.

Sims 2 is a great game- make sure you can run it though and you'll need a fair amount of space to save the game onto the hard drive. This game owns other sims titles cause of its graphics and the ability to make movies (if you have windows movie maker)

I highly recommend the Sims 2 for PC, but it's also highly addicting, so be careful!
