Democrats and republicans are woned and bought by corporations. They never do anything good for citizens. Why arent both parties voted out of office?

I generally do vote for another party. The Libertarian Party is the most viable 3rd party alternative. I think that most Republicans and most Democrats are just as evil as each other, maybe just in different ways, so it makes no difference to me which one is in office. To those who say I am wasting my vote I say that at least I am voting for someone I can believe in, not for a lesser of 2 evils. If more people voted for who they really wanted, we'd be better off, even if it is just sending a message to the powers that otherwise be.

Cause nobody else can win. In the entire history of America we've only ever had two parties at once, and it works better that way. The parties change over time & slide around on issues or regions, sometimes even new parties come up & replace one of the two we have. It's always the same tho. It's better to change things from inside the system then cry about it & never change anything. Most republicans for instance are more libretarian philosophically, but you have to compromise & have a big tent if you want to capture most of the American vote.

The best change I'd like to see... run as whatever party you want, but no recognition of party in congress when they select leaders or chairmanships.

Because too many people are convinced that voting for another party is throwing your vote away, even though you are making your voice heard.
