Go to the CAB and/or look in phone book for a local Law Centre (free lawyers - if one of them is qualified in employment law they will take on your case if then think it has merit.) Your employer is liable for the actions of its employees

Meanwhile, take detailed notes of the bullying: when, what, who, why. Find out what your workplace grievance procedure is (you have to go through this before you can bring a claim if thats what you end up doing). Also if you have a trade union, speak to them first. Good luck.

If you work in a big company, then speak to your human resource people.

Also if you are a union member, speak to them or I agree with the others, speak to your CAB. Some of them will answer your question over the telephone. They so in my local one (in South Wales. Not Cardiff, they are not too helpful & you have to make an appointment which will be in a months time or something stupid like that).

Companies are trying to clamp down on bullying in work as it results in people being off work long term due to stress.

Good luck.

Fraid I can't help you but just wanted to say you're not alone. Lots of people have been through this, none of them found an easy solution but they do come out good with the right support. You're doing the right thing. Good luck

PS charleymac is right - get a notebook and start a record. Hopefully you won't have to do this by the book but if you do, you need records.

All bullys have one thing in common. And I do mean ALL. They are all cowards who have no confidence in themselves or their abilitys. I realise that it is very hard to stand up to these people. But please trust me on this. As soon as you do stand up to this person or people who are making your time at work unpleasant. The sooner it will stop. Look your bully in the eye and calmly say, " I've had enough of you, NOW BACK OFF".
Strong confident people do not bully people.
You yourself are the best person to deal with this. GO FOR IT!!
