Ralph Carter, who played Michael on Good Times, was at the recent TV Land event that honored that series and a few others:

They had a picture of him with the guy who played Bookman. Carter looks older (of course) and has a moustache and a little beard. There was a photo on Yahoo but I can't find it now.
