A man's needs are rather simple. If he loves food, make him his favorite dish. If he loves sex, do something exotic for him, make him feel like your husband, rather than just the father your kids. If is saying he wants a power tool for home improvement, surprise him and get it for him. I hope this helps...

Think of what he likes the most, above anything else, and take to the next level. For example:
Likes nice cars: Rent a Porsche for a day and having him drive you somewhere.
Likes sports: Best tickets imaginable.
etc, etc.

My husband did this for me last Christmas, but it's a great idea for any parent at any time.

He got a frame with several openings (one for each kid), and in the largest opening he put their handprint in their favorite color. In the others he put a collection of pictures from baby to recent. I cried! I keep them in my office ~ my co-workers were so impressed that he thought of it all by himself!

Last year for father's day, I took a bunch of photos and made a slide show with "Daddy's Hands" playing over it and burned it on a DVD. I chose pictures of him with his parents, his kids, and his grandkids and some that did not have him it. He loves it! He asked me to make one for other relatives for Christmas- they loved it too.
