All the democrats you hold so high and mighty supported the war with Iraq when it began. As some things didn't go as hoped and it appeared to be a longer undertaking than anticipated, those same democrats saw a POLITICAL opportunity to undermine the administration and sway the opinion of a fickle and under-informed general public into hopefully regaining congress and the white house, and to push along their own agenda. The sad thing is most fickle people just follow along like rats following the Pied Pipper. Osama is much better protected by the local people than Saddam was. We can't send troops into Pakistan (where he most likely goes when the heat is on). Saddam was a more impending threat to U.S. security interests in the region than Osama ever could be. Osama may have killed more people directly, but ask yourself, did he have a military to invade other countries with? Did he have the potential to threaten 1/3 of the worlds oil supply? Did he ever have or use chemical weapons or ballistic missiles? Did he have access to a nation economy? Did he have an intelligence service?

The Iraq war succeeded in preventing Hussein from sending thousands of terrorists over here to make 9/11 a daily occurance. Also, it prevented him from deploying WMDs throughout the world (we recently proved that these WMDs were moved to Syria by the russians). Further, Husseins involvement in 9/11 is now a proven fact. Not only did he supply all of the money to Al Queda (which was broke before they approached him) but he trained the terrorists in how to take over planes at Salmon Pak.

The Iraq War wasn't in any way a diversion from terrorism. Iraq was ground zero for terrorism, which is why we went there and why we are still there.

9/11 has nothing to do with Iraq. Bush has admittied that. The war was to gain control of the oil over there, as well as turn Iraq into America Jr. Congrats Mr Bush, thanks to you, the suicide rate among troops has skyrocketed, the number of homeless Iraq War Vets is climbing much faster than the number of Nam vets ever has, and recruiting numbers for the military have dropped so drastically that now you have to bribe people to join, and you won't let them out of their contracts. Great job. What's your next trick Mr Bush? You going to give Osama a get out of jail free card?

Ok. I think that if we did not have this war then we would probably still getting attacked. Osama is worse than Hilter we should take over his country and stop him. There was no reason at all to have done this to us with the twin towers. How would u feel right now if your mom or dad or loved one was killed on 9/11? I bet that you would not care what but u want want whoever did this to be locked up! This was not for attention it was for to show that we will not be walked on by them!

Its people like you who make the Muslims that hate us smile cause they know their efforts are paying off. Do you remember 9/11? Would you like another 9/11 in your town? Don't you have enough common sense to know if the USA did nothing, it would happen again and again. I go back to my football days when the coach said the best defense if a good offense. Althought you might not understand this, suppose I knock you in the mouth. Will you let me knock you in the mouth again, or are you going to defend yourself by stopping me, or attempting to stop me? This is part of what Iraq is about. If you can't understand this, I pity you and all those who thing like you. At least we have a president with enough integrity to attempt to defend the United States.

Call it what you will but most of America agreed with the invasion, anyway. Which says we weren't really paying any attention from the start. We just wanted to see somebody, anybody, suffer for 9/11. Bush used the Iraq card and everybody fell for it. He might be a monkey, but he's a damned smart one when he wants to be.

There is a list of things to do at the White House.
It gets passed from one president to the other if it doesn't get done in that presidents term of office.
The war with Iraq was on that list before Iraq invaded Kuwait.
It was just one of those thing to do for the Iraq people.
Guess how many things ex-president Clinton did on that list.......none,nothing.

I highly doubt the government decided to pool trillions of taxpayer's dollars into an aimless war just for the sake of diverting attention.

The point of the war is to prevent future terrorist attacks on our country. Because we haven't had any issues since 9/11, I would say the government is doing a damn good job in keeping us safe.

You are sad, sad, sad people unable to accept life as it is. NO, NO, NO to all of the above.
You lost- get over it already.
The 3 countries to look for that wanted Iraq Oil are the 3 that oppose war. The 3 top buyers of Iraqi oil are, Canada, Mexico, & the United Kingdom. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
