The best fries I've had were at a bowling alley, believe it or not. They cut a fresh potato into thick slices and kept the skin on. I like those kind of fries because they taste like fries are supposed to taste, fresh and flavorful.

The best fries I have had are at Fudruckers, because they are thick with the skins on, but also because they have a condiment bar with everything from 3 kinds of cheese to chili, jalepenos, and salsa...

mcDonalds is my favorite, but the ones at ball games are always good. I HATE In N Out all around burgers fries all gross. YUCK. but I LOOOVE mcdonalds
