Italy are in a group of about 6 teams who have an outstanding chance in the world cup all depends with luck and lack of injuries.

ITALY , italy all the way, the italian need to show everyone who jumped on the brazilian bandwagon who they should be cheering for (my own italian brother is going for brazil for gods sakes)

No they are way too much over-rated, I was watching a yahoo sports clip where they talked to a former US player and he bets that U.S. will beat them when they play in the next two weeks. I don't agree personally but I definitly think the winner will be Brazil or Germany. I also bet U.S. will get out in round of 16.

I think yes,they have a great goalkeeper,a very solid well organised,settled defence who don't concede many goals and know how to defend properly,a well balanced midfield in Pirlo,Hopefully Gattuso,Del Piero who should play deeper and a prolific strikeforce,Toni will win the Golden boot and terrorise Brazil in the final ala Paulo Rossi .

well I hope that Italy wins it!!!
However, Brasil is an excellent team (as always) so the odds are that they will probably win it. And we all know that the Portuguese will suddenly become Brazilian if that happens!!!
I say, be true to your country and ONLY your country!!

i bielieve they have a fairly good chance at it this year but they must come in first in their group so as not to play Brazil(most likely). then in the knock-out fase they must play at the top of their game because if they dont they will be knocked out very quickly. in the QFs they have to watch out for either ukraine, france or spain. Semis they might face germany, poland, argentina,holland, mexico, or portuagal depending on how the earlier rounds play out.

Yep - Forza Italia... Everyone is saying Brazil, yeah they have some amazing players, but they're just way overrated
