Of course it ALWAYS depends on the people involved but I would say from my own experience that he's letting you down gently....I'm sure that he WILL always love you in some form but I think he's probably interested in moving on and possibly dating someone else. I know how devestating this can be....believe me but it's his loss, maybe one day he will wake up and smell the coffee and realize that he really and truly does love you and he made a huge mistake ....of course then you may already have found somebody else...it happens all the time...go on with your life no matter how hard it may be to take....you can do it....find someone who DOES deserve you and keep telling yourself that it's not your fault that the both of you broke up, he was the one that initiated it, so maybe you DO deserve better...huh?

He's saying it's stupid. I have found better. I will think of you for a week and find someone else. It;'s harsh but guys are harsh. they just never let us know what they are really thinking. That's just how they are. Guys never say wht they really mean unless they are a totally honest person. But then again I could be completely wrong. I just thind that's what a guy really means. He wants to find someone else. My ex told me that same shet. He also fell out of love with me after a month and was falling in love with another girl friend. He just adds the last part to make it sound less shitty.

It probably means he is very insecure and depending on how long you guys have been together he probably does not want to be in the relationship or if he is a nice guy maybe he thinks he can't offer you want you deserve and he wants to see you happy
