It is a genuine idea. But no fruit will bear from this tree. Let me explain why everyone's shares will be worthless:

1) The site uses Google as its search engine not its own.
2) Google makes its money mainly through ad revenue. If Windizzi uses Google for searches, it is also displaying Google's ads--thus actually making Google more money and nothing for windizzi.
3) There could be potential lawsuit against Windizzi for using google as a search engine, unless it has google's permission---which would mean google wants windizzi to operate, bringing google in more money

Conclusion, any and all money to be made is by Google. Windizzi is/will be worthless as they have no income stream. It can't be made a public company (like they hope it will) if it doesn't use any proprietary data/software/product.

Hi Guys this is Adam Blair (from windizzi.com)

I understand some of your skeptisism (how ever that is spelt!) but I would like to address each point (my answers in capital letters).

1) The site uses Google as its search engine not its own.
CORRECT BUT THIS WILL NOT NECESSARILY ALWAYS BE THE CASE.

2) Google makes its money mainly through ad revenue. If Windizzi uses Google for searches, it is also displaying Google's ads--thus actually making Google more money and nothing for windizzi.
THIS IS INCORRECT. WINDIZZI MAKES A PORTION OF THE REVENUE FROM SPONSORED LINKS (OTHERWISE KNOWN AS 'PAY PER CLICK' ADVERTISING).

3) There could be potential lawsuit against Windizzi for using google as a search engine, unless it has google's permission---which would mean google wants windizzi to operate, bringing google in more money
WE DO HAVE GOOGL'S PERMISSION! :-)

Conclusion, any and all money to be made is by Google.
Windizzi is/will be worthless as they have no income stream. It can't be made a public company (like they hope it will) if it doesn't use any proprietary data/software/product.
THE FIRST PART IS INCORRECT AS EXPLAINED ABOVE. THE SECOND IS ACCURATE BUT THIS IS A STARTUP AND IT WOULD BE CRAZY FOR US TO DEVELOP PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE AT THIS STAGE BECAUSE GOOGLE'S IS AMONGST THE BEST AVAILABLE.

I hope that you decide to become a member and I can assure you that it is not a scam -- I already have avery successful business and it would not be worth my while to do that!

All the best,

Adam, www.windizzi.com

You are most likely to be right about the site. I have not found too many people just giving away things these days. And if they are it's not worth a penny.

He doesn't ask for any personal details other than name and email address (home address optional) - I don't see what you have to lose..? Might give it a go myself!
