A journalist asked this to Noel during an interview and Noel said 'No'. However he did say that the Banker was a funny man and that when there are nice woman in the hotseat the Banker makes remarks that Noel can't repeat, so watch out for Noel laugh when he is on the phone to the banker and there is a woman in the hotseat!!

I think you're onto a winner there. Heck if he can't have a regular appearance on the show then at least bring him on as a contestant.
Maybe there should be a spin off programme where Mr Blobby is the host of the show instead of Noel Edmonds.

I'm inclined to agree that with richi above, I think the banker definitely knows where all the money is. And it never crossed my mind that the banker is Mr Blobby but you never know ...

The banker is probably some sad old guy. Not as sad as the contestants though. They make the show unwatchable with their pathetic greed and false crying.

Personally, I think that the banker is also the independent adjudicator. Think about how that would work out... :-)
