In using wireless b/band why does my browser not launch even though my Outlook sends and receives email?

I use Explorer as my browser - and MS Outlook for email. The wireless b/b connection icon shows I am connected to the internet, but IE cannot connect the home page. what are the correct settings?

Can IE connect to *any* page? If so, then just reset your home page to something that is working--- go in IE to Tools--> Internet Options and type a chosen home page in the box. If IE can't connect at all, check with your ISP because you may need to reset your proxy settings or similar, which is not hard to do but you need to know what your service expects you to be using. In other words, what works for me might not work for you! But your ISP can tell you.
