I've noticed that the human race seems to like to hurt others. I know it's not always intentional but a lot of times it is. why do people murder rape and do other things like that. I just don't understand it.

murder, rape, and abuse are very serious behaviors. people that commit these acts are mentally unstable. they are sick. i think they should be done the same as they do to others. there is never an excuse to hurt other people for no reason. you sound concerned, did someone hurt you? need to talk send me an email

You have to understand that most hurt done is unintentional.
Most of what is left is done "Because we want to" or "need to". The fact that someone got hurt is a sad side effect of us getting our way. We don't stop and realize what other persons is feeling or block it out intentionally because we don't want to deal with it.
This would be a much nicer world if we all thought first about how our actions effect other people.
There is a small number of people who are out to hurt other people, and actually enjoy it. Those people are sick, the rest of us doing it are just stupid and should all apologize for what we did.

I think it's a power thing. These people may struggle with other things in their life that they can't control or they may have been victimized by someone else. So, they pick on someone whom they can dominate and make suffer. With nations it's usually about power and beliefs. If one group doesn't believe in what the domanate group believes, they feel its ok to hurt and kill the other group. Humans always feel they have to stake their claim to property , land and beliefs. We are supposed to be the smartest beings on the planet, but we really do some screwed up things to each other.

People are doing to others what was done to them earlier. For example, if someone hits you and they are bigger then yourself a lot of people would go hit someone smaller then themselves. This is the only way a lot of people can deal with the hurt they received and satisfy their egos that they are not really weak. In fact though, those who do the most hurting are really weak inside, thats why they are so aggressive because they are threatened by others and have to pick on someone weaker.

I really don't think people mean to hurt each other! We are all human & we make mistakes! The best part is when you realize you did hurt someone & that you are sorry! Then the other person knows that they weren't hurt intentionally.

well for me personally if im upset or in pain i sometimes like to make others feel the way i do. I will say a nasty comment or just be rude so they get crabby and rude like me. I think as far as murder or rape people who feel bad about themselves take it out on innocent people.

Evil,sinful hearts.Rich and famous people can have millions of "friends and supporters".A poor man may have trouble finding a few Friends.People mistreat people because of their clothes,looks,race,height,finances,etc.People rape for selfish gratification.Murder can be committed for the lest reason,sometimes no reason.All people need to seeks Jesus for forgiveness of sin.

Because they think that killing brings pride..... and that kind of pride brings trials and jail, possibly put to death or just jail for life.
I personally think that all killers are totally insane and should change their personality in a way so that they are good people and do not have a desire to get rid of somebody, whether for a reason or not.

I've heard this quote "Hurting people hurt people".
Most of the time those people have some sort of extreme pain in their life. They act out like they wouldn't if they weren't in angish.

I think it goes along with the same reason we can't help, but laugh when someone gets hurt.....it is that we are cruel by nature....I mean think about it we burn ants with magnifying glasses, we rip wings off of bees, or toss cats off of things to see if they land on their feet. Why? because we like watching what happens....
