what should i do to make my proposal more special?

i plan to propose and i don't know what i should do to make it as special as possible.

Oh, grreat. I think that is sgreat that hyou want to make it an unusual.... special proposal. I am going to assume you are in the U.S. AND.. I am assuming that it is a guy proposing to a gal. There are a lot of clever, ways.. I will mention 2 or 3:

1) Order a dozen red roses and pick them up yourself at the shop. Write the card to say, "Will you marry me?" and put the diamond in a presentation box with the roses. Present the flowers during a candlelight dinner for two at home (cater if you can't cook).
2) If you are close to Mexico.. plan to go to a Mexican resort, haves Mariachis dancing at your table and someone bringing in flowers and a ring box to present to you..I would hope that the Meixcans did not steal the ring though.
3)Do not know if you are into the Internet, etc or not but if so: -- E-mail a 3-D animated graphic of a loose diamond, with the message, "Will you marry me?" If you can, time the delivery of the e-mail when you can be there in person to see her reaction and get your answer.
4)If no kids -- Hide the diamond in a box with your proposal message in a place she will certainly look during the day -- such as in the butter dish if she eats toast every morning, or in the silverware drawer before dinner, or with her makeup in the morning. Try to be there when you expect her to find it.
5) Take the engagement ring and tie a thread to it. Tie the other end of the thread around your finger. Tell your partner, "I have a present for you, but there's a string attached."
6) During a special evening, present your love with three roses: Tell her one represents the past, one represents the present, and the last one (with the ring tied to it) represents the future.

I could go on and on but do not know if you scuba drive(for another one I know), plus many others

Incorporate things that you two have shared together in the past - have a song you first danced to playing, or propose at the place you had your most memorable date at / someplace you both consider special.

I always find it very romantic when someone proposes with wonderful words of affection. Like when you first met the person, how you fell in love with them, the witty things they do to make you laugh and feel giddy, and how you see your future together. It makes no difference HOW you propose as long as the sincerity is there!

Do it in a creative and fun way. How about at a resturant and put the ring in a wine glass or on her plate next to her meal when she is not looking. Then have them come out and pop the question for you when they bring the meal or desert. Or go on a romantic picnic and ask her there . Be creative and you know what she likes so think!

Hey, if you are planning to do that it's suposed that you are crazy in love and full of ideas.
But ok...sometimes nothing cool fells up on our minds.

Happened to me.
You know what, just knee in front of her and tell her what you will feel in that unique moment, and then propose her. ;)

Do something unusual like make a big fool out of yourself to show them how much you love them. Or do a remeber when and take you soon to be fiance to places you went when you first met and tell them memories from those times.

If you have a build a bear in your town i would dress the bear into a tux and put the ring around the bear's neck and have it say what you are feeling and at the end say "Will you do me the honor of marrying me"

You want an idea, as crazy as it is... Lets say you have been together for 12 months...buy her some roses and say every rose simbolizes each month you two have been together, and go into it from there....it will melt her heart Im sure....Good luck.... Oh dont forget...get down on one knee dont just say...marry me.... :))

make sure that its from your heart. the place and setting should be sweet..like mcdonalds is not a good idea..lol... but as long as its from your heart then thats all thats going to matter to your girl. the rest is just a story to tell.
