I'm looking for good climate to be outdoors in the month of November and would like your advice about possible locations. our needs? proximity to services like a choice of restaurants; not too large a city - more like a good size town or village; a hotel large enough to be able to reserve 15 rooms; ability to hire buses to take us to different locations to paint.

For November , Crete is ideal cause the weather is still mild there. You can stay in the lovely town of Rethymno.Crete is the largest Greek island and you can paint anything..From mountains ,rare flowers and seas to ruins which are 4000 years old like the palace of Knossos of the Minoan civilization. Here is an agency that specializes in private base tours and activities.Real pros. www.travel-designers.gr

Try Chania on Crete. Because it's a large island, there is a lot to do and see, and it has all the facilities. Chania has a Venetian look and is very picturesque. The weather in Crete in November will be milder than elsewhere in Greece.

Anywhere in Crete would be great, but Chania is my favorite.

Delphi would be ideal. The Amalia hotel is large and well-located. If it rains, which it might do anywhere in Greece in November, you'd be able to paint the beautiful views from the hotel windows: http://www.amalia.gr/delphi/home2.htm
