We can easily turn around, or turn our head, so we don't need a massive visual cortex and another two eyes, and to spend all our time processing the information from them, which mostly, would be, no threat, keep doing what you are, in front of you. Do you want to walk or run backwards?

- There would be less space for your brain
- How would you sleep- with eyes on both sides?
- How confusing would that be- seing what's behind AND in front of you at once? We'd probably need two brains.
