Does anyone know wrote the song , "this thing called love"?

Some band from the 80's with dolls in their name? they would dress up like the 50's and sing rock and roll music from the 50's
what was the name of the band?

no this was a band of white guys singing old rock and roll sons. I can't remember their band name.
