ok well i have a BF name Quinton. My mom hates him for some reason i dont know why.She says she doesnt want me to have any Bf's but i had one before him (lots) and she liked him. She drove me to his house and everything.But she just doesnt like Quinton. 2 days ago she said i couldn't see him anymore!! i got so mad at her and i still am and ill never talk to her again if thats what it takes. I love him and i just dont undertsand why cant she just understand that?!? hes a great guy. One of the best Bfs i ever had! I tell her its not like im going to have sex with him! She caught me laying my head on his shoulder and she Freaked out after he left like she caught us having sex! Its ok if i put my head on his shoulder isnt it?!? I lovw him to death and i dont want to loose him. He says he wont leave for a stupid reason like that. Hes just a person i can tell all my secrets to! what would you do?

i tried to work things out with my mom but she doesnt want to listen. She says "stop talking to me before i smack you" when i try to tell her anything about him. She gets all crabby on me.

im 13 turning 14. hes 14. but my mom doesnt care how old we are. she says he looks Sneeking. But hes a really nice guy! hes done some bad stuff in the past. But hes changed! im seriouse. Sweetest boy i ever met. She just cant get over the past.....?....

you need to talk to your mom and find out why she doesn't like him. Once she tells you why she doesn't like him, you can tell her y u do like him and the reasons you fell in love with him. Basically you have to work this out with your mother.

Every parent owes their kid more of an explanation than that especially if she let you date other guys before. Ultimately though parents rule till you can live on your own so don't fight it more than what it is really worth.

well you need to talk to your mom and find out why she does not like him. she may know some thing you dont. then you need to calm down., if he loves you he will be with you no matter what.

alot of her reasoning is prolly in the details you dind't provide. his age - your age.
mom's *and dad's* can sometimes see things in ppl that you cant' b/c you are too close to them. ask her why she feels this way about him - but dont get defensive about it. try to understand her point of view.
