Okay, so the guy was caught touching himself in a PORN THEATER. What did people do before porn came out on VHS or DVD? Seems pretty idiotic to me.

I liked him, his TV show and movie. He is a great actor, brilliant in the Depp movie BLOW.

I agree with Uchaboo and Hrothgar, Pee Wee had a very entertaining and smart kids show - I'll even go so far as to call it genius. He went to a place of business that one could even argue encourages that sort of behavior. He wasn't molesting children and I doubt that the children watching his show at the time had any comprehension of his crime. I wonder how many of the media darling hypocrites said to themselves "Holy crap, I've done that!

I think that was the whole point of him going incognito into a theatre to watch porn and doing that in the dark.
It is idiotic. Police had a field day. He did not molest kids, he did not fight with any one, he did not murder any body and then speed away in a white Branco.
NOOOOOO.......
He touched himself to relieve pleasure because the man could not get any woman to f@ck him!
And that was sad. I thought he was funny.

Well since he has made his comeback with the new King Kong movie, I think he is pretty cool. Shame about the bad publicity he took after that incident. Though it was a long time ago, most people remember him for it. Such a shame and I think he was quite talented and had a warped kinda humour.

Acutally, Adult Swin on Cartoon Network will be airing Pee Wee's Playhouse on it's lineup. It starts I think okn July 10th. :)

His punishment did not fit his crime... He was in a porn theather for christ sake! It's not like he was in a public bathroom at a park (George Michael) or filmed having sex with an underage girl (Rob Lowe)

I was in love with is show. I actually still have one christmas episode on tape. Very imaginative show.
And i agree with you about the whole porn thing. but oh well
